The Heart of the Pines Film Festival Technical Director’s main job to to ensure quality files are ready to be exhibited at the screenings. This person works with the Festival Director to coordinate receipt of files and DVD/Blu-ray discs from filmmakers, and have them ready for screening. This can be done remotely, but someone from either the Shreveport or Houston area is ideal. Must be well-versed in post-production, media file output, storage, various types of exhibition types and how files are best viewed. Paid TEMPORARY position. Resume required.
VENUE COORDINATOR (3)
Stand at entrance to the lobby and ensure that pass holders and ticket holders are admitted according to their priority when doors open. Serve as Ticket Taker, or assign another volunteer to this task. Overall, will be responsible for filling out attendance form for each movie and reconciling cash to Festival Director. One per city/event location – Shreveport, LA; The Woodlands, TX; South Arkansas. Volunteer position at this time.
VIP VENUE CONCIERGES
Meet and greet sponsors, filmmakers and high-level pass holders as they arrive, communicate information to guests and assist with their needs. One per city/event location – Shreveport, LA; The Woodlands, TX; South Arkansas. Volunteer position.
RED CARPET PHOTOGRAPHER
Photographer with experience to photograph main events. One per city/event location – Shreveport, LA; The Woodlands, TX; South Arkansas. Volunteer position (currently). We will do everything we can to promote your business. You will have the chance to watermark all official photos before we post them online.
